CADVault Runtime
This free widget of the Autodesk platforms is designed for the end user of protected information, so that they could with the appropriate codes on them to open or perform operations which are allowed by the original author of the data.
CADVault Runtime is a fully functional version of CADVault for AutoCAD with built-in possibility to read protected drawings, but also with the following limitation: when used for file locking, CADVault Runtime switches to demo mode. Drawings that are locked in demo mode can be smoothly opened and modified using the password "demo".
Drawings recorded in demo mode look like standard protected files, and for testing purposes and demonstration of abilities. However, they are not secured. The only reliable way to create fully protected files is to use CADVault for AutoCAD version of the application.
