Measuring of KPI
Achievement of the goals is being planned in: years, quarters, months, weeks, depending on whether the goal belongs to the category of strategy or operations. KPIs are linked only with the objectives of the lowest level and can be measured daily. KPI is measured in two ways:
- Transformation of data from an existing IS
- Hand measurements.
The software has prepared adapters for connecting to the existing IS which are customized during actual implementation. The largest number of KPI should be measured from the existing IS.
Localization
Software system has a built-in features for easy localization onto the preferred language that can be achieved in real time.
Implementation environment
This software was implemented in Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 technology, where the C # is used as the main programming language. In addition, there is a Microsft Silverlight - web application framework as a new technology that allows much better visualization of data (making Dashboard screen) which is for this type of software of great importance.
A multilayer architecture is implemented:
- At the top is the Silverlight web client (running in the browser window)
- Followed by a layer of Web services for communication
- Followed by a layer of business logic
- Layer for database access
- At the bottom is the relational database.
The software is not tied exclusively to a system for managing a database (for example, MySQL), but can work over other systems: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and the like.
