Summary
Calibration and mapping of surveying bases
TeleCAD-GIS contains a subsystem for the rounded processing, digitizing and storing raster surveying plans, and as such is unique in the world where so far this problem has not been adequately resolved. Tools for calibration provide to standards a required elimination of deformation of scanned geodetic maps and maps generated as a result of "twisted" paper and distortion of optical scanner systems.
Such processed data form the basis for planning, designing, in other words, layer for compliance: recorded situation by GPS device with planned (surveying plans), not updated geodetic plans with the factual situation (orthophoto shots), and vector representation of the planned, ie. existing structures on the ground.
Georeference - fully automatic positioning of the scan content in the country's coordinate system (mapping of the base) and connection of such mapped sheets in continuous space. Information on the reference coordinates of ratified raster base is stored either in the departments DWG file, or in a corporate database of map material.
Elimination of deformations - to scan the geodesic plan is not enough for a scanned document to become also a reference space layer. When translating the map from analog to digital format, the program ensures that it retains its basic properties in digital form: spatial specificity, proportion, geometry and mathematical accuracy and completeness of the content. Accuracy required by law is provided, and execution of quality control of calibration using the statistic test of blunder.
Storage and usage - sub-system for calibration provides indexed placing processed raster bases to hard disk or a database of cartographic material, thus preventing the design on not updated or not mapped geodetic layers. The possibility of simultaneous multi-user access to a unique set of indexed geodetic plans and maps from the database screen, and their logical connection to the active drawing (an area that an active sketch covers).
Format conversion - download the scanned pages of the plan or map in graphical formats TIFF, JPEG, BMP or GIF, and the possibility of automatic conversion of raster to transparent AutoCAD display. Specially optimized algorithms for linearization when converting 16 or 24-bit color background in their single-bit performance.
